August's monthly special is here, and it is pure nostalgia: the Peanut Butter and Jelly Donut. We took the flavors of the sandwich every kid packed for lunch and built them into one of our softest donuts.
The base is a bismark, a pillowy yeast donut with no hole, the kind we fill and finish by hand. Inside is a generous core of strawberry jelly. On top is a swoop of smooth, creamy peanut butter icing with the peanut butter flavor front and center. Split one open and the jelly is right there in the middle, just like the sandwich.
Made for Back to School
There is no flavor more tied to the school year than peanut butter and jelly. As the backpacks come out and the lunchboxes get packed again, we wanted a special that felt like the start of the season. One bite and you are back at the kitchen counter before the bus.
It is a treat for the kids and a hit of nostalgia for the grown-ups. Grab a few for the first day of school, a classroom morning, or just a Tuesday that needs a little lift.
What Makes It Different
- Strawberry jelly filling. Piped into the center of the bismark, not just a dab. Every bite reaches the jelly.
- Peanut butter icing, not glaze. A thick, creamy layer spread over the top, not a thin drizzle.
- Soft bismark base. Light, airy, and fresh-fried, so the whole thing melts together the way a good PB&J should.
- August only. When the month ends, the Peanut Butter and Jelly Donut heads back to the vault.

How to Get Yours
Stop in to 145 W Market St in downtown Orrville any morning we're open (Tuesday-Saturday, doors open at 6 AM), or order online for pickup. We fill and ice these in batches, so getting in earlier in the morning is the safer bet.
